  This image reminded me of a Thai urban legend or "saying" that I got told by adults all the time when I was younger. The saying was "Do not point at a rainbow or your finger will fall off'' ( why? ) as it is seen as unholy and disrespectful towards spirits. Which has influence generations of Thai children. which is a similar concept for my short film, as my short film starting point is inspired by old sayings, for example like  'don't swallow the seeds of a fruit or it will grow inside of you', 'eating bread crusts will make your hair curly' or even another Thai saying that eating fish will make you smarter (all related to food as I want to link to eating disorder/ other mental health issues). A saying that nearly every child has heard at least once, and sayings that every child believed at least one. I will  contrast these sayings with what I HEAR from adults now, or what they have said to me  as I grow up, that have stayed, or a more suita

colour pallet

  Through out the film, my aim was to have one colour pallet, but change the hue and luminance through out the film to result a contrasting result, making the film more surreal and expressional   my colour pallet will consists of the colour red, baby blue, baby pink and green  at the start> ACT1, the colour grading will be warm tones, saturated and bright. Reflecting the innocent feel of my protagonist youth, but also to mirror a encouraging feel to it.  ACt2> when the climax approaches, the luminance and hue of the colour pallet will change to a more blue/green tint, highlighting the red (as they are opposite colours) creating a more gritty and raw feel, reflecting the damage in my protagonist mind. The green grittiness will escalate more and more to liberate on how she feels  ACT3> at the end, when we are back in reality, or her reality now, the colour pallet is faded and is the total opposite of how the film started.
